Pure Punjabi Besan mix, (pronounced Beh-sun), is a real crowd-pleaser for adults and children alike. The method for making Besan requires the mix to be stirred for long enough to cook out any bitterness. This cooking method changes the gram flour from a crumble-like texture, to a smooth peanut-butter-like consistency.
You can either set in a tin and cut into squares, or roll into little dumplings (‘laddus’). You can even add a layer of chocolate to make this wonderful dessert even more decadent!

Ingredients: gram flour, sugar.
There are no gluten or dairy based ingredients in the mix. Gluten based ingredients are not required for the fresh ingredients. You have the option of adding dairy based ingredients for the fresh ingredients or to make the dish dairy-free (and therefore vegan).
