The Onion Bhaji, Butter Chicken, Methi Naan & Besan 3-Course meal
The starter to this fabulous meal is crispy Onion Bhaji, and these are in our Punjabi style, using potato, as well as onion, (Pakora)! Although there is some chilli in the mix, you can make these as ‘chilli hot’ as you like. Another option, is to mix the vegetables and batter, cook half of them, then add more chilli and do the remaining batch much hotter to suit the whole family.
The main dish of Butter Chicken is the definiton of a luxury dish, and is made using fresh tomatoes, butter and cream. This is not a dish to worry about calories, but only for enjoyment. There’s plenty of sauce for mopping up with the freshly made Methi (Fenugreek) naan breads.
This is followed by the fudge-like dessert of Besan (Beh-sun), which is nutritious as well as delicious. It contains gram flour, which has a high protein content, so you only need a small square of the dessert to be completely satisfied.
As always our meal kits leave the cook in control, and you can use as much chilli as you like…or as little. The onion bhajis do have some fresh green chilli in the mix, but only to a mild to moderate level. This can be increased if you like your food hotter. – the chilli is always added by the cook, so you can adjust this to have it just the way you like.

Many of our kits are ideal for vegetarians and vegans …as well as many other special dietary requirements, such as gluten-free, (although you would never guess from the taste!). The option to make this 3 -Course meal as a vegetarian meal is to use Paneer instead of chicken.
All of our spices are ground from whole by us. We only use whole spices and do not use or buy in any pre-ground spices.
