Butter Chicken is a dish from our region of Punjab, North India and is a feast dish for special occasions and not the everyday food of farming families. In the punjabi language, it is called Murgh Makhani. It is made using pieces of Tandoori Chicken, which are then simmered in a rich sauce of cream, tomatoes and butter. The freshness and the difference you will find, from making this dish yourself, is just fantastic, and when we taught this on our last free cook-along, it took no more than an hour, going through everything step-by step.

We grind all our spices from whole and so there are no anti-caking agents or fillers in our mixes. There are wheat based ingredients in the mix. Dairy based ingredients ARE required for the fresh ingredients.
