Our Pure Punjabi Butter Chicken meal kit, is prepared by us for you to be able to quickly and easily makes this rich indulgent feast dish. It contains every dried ingredient necessary, (hand-prepared by us from scratch), for making this complex and intricate dish, which is served for feasts and special occasions.  It is made by using Tandoori Chicken pieces in a beautiful sauce made from fresh tomatoes, butter & cream.  Just add the perishable ingredients when ready to cook.  We use no artificial food colour in our kits. This meal kit comes complete with a mini jar of our Double Great taste Award-winning Tandoori Masala paste.

Each sachets serves 4 people. Method instructions are digital and come through via email, after purchase.

Butter Chicken is a dish from our region of Punjab, North India and is a feast dish for special occasions and not the everyday food of farming families. In the punjabi language, it is called Murgh Makhani.  It is made using pieces of Tandoori Chicken, which are then simmered in a rich sauce of cream, tomatoes and butter.  The freshness and the difference you will find, from making this dish yourself, is just fantastic, and when we taught this on our last free cook-along, it took no more than an hour, going through everything step-by step.

We grind all our spices from whole and so there are no anti-caking agents or fillers in our mixes. There are wheat based ingredients in the mix. Dairy based ingredients ARE required for the fresh ingredients.

Please note that whilst there is not gluten in this product, we are not a gluten-free, or wheat-free environment.

We are having such fun cooking from The Spice Pack Collection and all the dishes have come out brilliantly. The smell is divine and Rob, who is very fussy, is particularly impressed. All our visitors are wowed when they smell the box – we’ve been too possessive to share any with others, as yet!

As a natural therapist I particularly appreciate the healthy aspect of each dish, none of which compromise on taste. Good ingredients freshly cooked makes a big difference.

We’re going on holiday with three other couples in a couple of weeks and going to take the pack with us to cook some dishes together.
