Garam Masala


Our Pure Punjabi Garam Masala is made faithfully to the traditional methods of Punjabi kitchens.  It is still made exactly to our traditional family recipe always from whole spices and is lovingly mixed and hand-ground in small batches. We carefully grind our spices to just the right consistency, which is on the coarse side and not too fine.  A coarse grind releases the full flavour of the spices, ready to make the most beautifully authentic meals.

This was taught to Surinder by her mother when she was 11 years old and passed onto Safia. Traditional recipes are dying out, in favour of commercially mass-produced spices blends and we are proud to preserve ours.
