How the Weight-loss Meal Box works
Each sachet contains all the spices and dried ingredients you need to make each dish. Just buy fresh ingredients when you are ready to cook and follow our method instructions. These tell you exactly how we, as Punjabis, make these dishes ourselves, at home.
Adding your own fresh ingredients, means that you control the level of heat in your dish. Simply add as much or as little chilli as desired. All the dishes in this box are naturally healthy, and are perfect for meal prep, keeping you on track with your health and weight-loss goals.

Store the meal kit box and sachets in pantry-like conditions, a cool dark cupboard. Do not choose a cupboard that is next to your oven or an appliance that give soff heat, or a part of your kitchen where the sun shines on it.
Each meal sachet makes enough for 4 standard sized portions.
You receive e-instructions for the meal sachets. These tell you:
- How long prep and cooking takes
- The ingredients list
- The step-by-step method instructions
- What do to if you only want to make 1 or 2 portions at a time
This will be fantastic for batch cooking/cooking in bulk.
The average cook time for the meal sachets is 20 – 25 minutes.
At the beginning of your instructions, we have listed sachets that are great for cooking at the same time, because they need some of the same ingredients. Making efficient use of your time.

Taste is not compromised whatsoever. Safia, co-director of Pure Punjabi and Head of Product Development, is allergic to milk, so rest assured, we do not release any products that are ‘free from’ if it impairs taste in any way.
We grind all our spices from whole, in-house. Meaning we have 100% certainty that there are no fillers or nasties in our spice blends – meaning no gluten, no wheat, or animal derivatives in our spice blends! Simply add a note to your order to let us know what special dietary requirements you have.
