Come for a delicious 3-course North Indian meal in celebration of The King’s Coronation!

This is the food of the mothers and grandmothers of Punjab, preserving and maintaining the culinary heritage.  If you like restaurant style Indian food this is not for you. If you have been to India, and have been searching for the soul food found in family homes, then you’ll be coming to the right place.

Vegetarians will be provided with an alternative to the Main Lamb dish.  Should you have any other special dietary requirements, it is essential that you let us know in the ‘notes’ section when you book, so that we can accomodate these for you.

Starter

Palak Paneer Square
Our fusion dish of spiced spinach and paneer, layered between buttery filo pastry and baked till golden

Mains

Tandoori Lamb
Leg of lamb, on the bone, slow cooked with our double Great Taste Award winning Tandoori Masala

Stuffed Aubergine
Baby aubergines stuffed with hand ground spices and cooked in a spicy tomato sauce

Green Dhal
Green lentils gently cooked wth garlic, ginger and a carefully selected combination of spices

Naan
Soft and freshly cooked naan bread till lightly charred

Kachumber
Refreshing salad of cool cucumber, tri-colour tomatoes and red onion

Pilau rice
Fragrant basmati rice

Dessert

Strawberry Barfi & Ginger Cordial
A soft Indian fudge, infused with strawberry. Served with a glass of freshly made ginger cordial, which is slow steeped for several days before being stilled and adding a touch of finely minced ginger root

We are having such fun cooking from The Spice Pack Collection and all the dishes have come out brilliantly. The smell is divine and Rob, who is very fussy, is particularly impressed. All our visitors are wowed when they smell the box – we’ve been too possessive to share any with others, as yet!

As a natural therapist I particularly appreciate the healthy aspect of each dish, none of which compromise on taste. Good ingredients freshly cooked makes a big difference.

We’re going on holiday with three other couples in a couple of weeks and going to take the pack with us to cook some dishes together.
