Masoor di Dhal is the vegetarian main that we teach on our ‘Indian Experience’ cookery workshop, and Roti is the daily bread we also teach. It’s not an easy bread to make, but well worth the challenge!
This meal is naturally and accidentally plant-based, without altering or adapting it to fit the label!
This is food of the farmers of North Punjabi and nutritionally a power-house of a meal! One of the staples dinners in our family! The dhal freezes excellently, and we always have it on standby in the freezer. Roti is always made fresh for each meal!
