Learn how to make vegetable samosas.
Samosas are a much-loved snack that are popular all over the world. Vegetable samosas use a pea & potato Saabji (vegetable curry) as the filling. They are usually prepared communally, normally for a wedding or special occasion, although they have now become an everyday food.
They are great for entertaining, as you can prepare the samosas in advance and refridgerate them uncooked.
Arrival: Meet your other attendees
Step 1 – learn how to prepare the Sabjhi (vegetable curry) filling – you will do this in one large pot as a group.
Step 2 – learn how to make the pastry – you will make your own pastry, learning how to mix the pastry, roll it out, section and divide, ready to fill, then fold and seal into the traditonal triangular shape.
The vegetable samosa filling will be made as one large pot, however it needs to be made the night before so that it is cold and esier to work with, therefore we will have a filling pre-prepared that we have made the day before. This is essential to have the right consistency.

Pure Punjabi bought The Crown & Victoria Inn in April 22, Having viewed viewed it as a virtually closed down pub with no trade or bookings.
Although looking only for a building with bed & breakfast and commercial kitchen for our own meal kit production, we felt it was such a beautiful building and as well as bed& breakfast, also take group bookings and events.
